overwhelmed...randomness

I meant to write a new post a few days ago, but just haven't found the time to do so...my nails right now are just plain orange-ish, don't remember the name of the polish but I know it's Milani....the only time I actually get to do my nails is late at night when my toddler is asleep, otherwise I have to do his nails as well...I have a few ideas, that I will try to do this week, and a few new nailpolishes to try as well...

I went to CVS the other day and they had all Sally Hansen nail polishes for buy 1 get the second 50% off..wooo hooo, I just love Sales and Specials...I also found the same deal on Milani nail polishes...

I have to lay off the summer colors, because thats all I have been buying lately, I think I'm going hit up the stores for some deep, rich colors, darker tones...
I started a hot pink & black with polka dots last night, but my dotting tool broke, and a bobby pin didn't give me quite the results I wanted. So I removed it, and put this orange-ish color on...

I really want to do a post about how I grew my nails, what I used, and what I faithfully did to get strong nails. And of course my nail routine before applying any nail polish on my nails.

I will try to do all of this by the end of the week...

glitter nails with black flowers

So today was time to do my nails. I really wanted to do watermelon nails but I had to do something that was quick because my toddler was taking his afternoon nap and if he woke up before I finished I would have to paint his nails as well....so instead I did these glitter nails with black flowers. I really dont like them as much and I think I will do them over again tonight...anyhow, this is what they look like, 15 minute nails..

I used : Base Coat
Milani - Diamond Dazzle ( base color )
Sally Hansen - Black Out ( flowers )
Top Coat

We all know how difficult it can be to remove glitter nail polish because the grains of glitter stick to your nails more firmly than regular nail polish does, making it sometimes VERY difficult to remove. The easiest way to do this is by using a nail polish remover that contains high volumes of Acetone. Although Acetone can be harsh on your nails, drying them out, make sure you replace the moisture and your nails will be ok....so, just soak your cotton ball in nail polish remover and hold it on each nail for about 25 seconds, then in circular motion remove the glitter.

Oh, and I wanted to show you guys the toenails I have at the moment. I did these a few days ago. One of my co-workers called them "Psychadelic Daze" lol..it's just a black base color with yellow, pink, and green splatters overlapping on the big toe.
